Why Your Jets Need Cleaning
Every time you use your jetted tub, soap scum, body oils, and moisture get trapped inside the internal jet lines and tubing — where water never fully drains.

Standard Monthly Clean — 1 Tablet
Fill Your Tub
Run warm water into your tub until the jet openings are fully covered by at least 2 inches of water. Do not overfill.
Drop In One Tablet
Unwrap one Durabasics tablet and place it directly into the water. Allow it to dissolve completely before proceeding — no stirring required.
Run the Jets
Switch the jets on and let the system run for 20 minutes. The cleaning solution circulates through the jet plumbing to help loosen residue inside the system.
Drain Completely
Turn off the jets and drain the tub completely. Dark or cloudy water may appear as loosened residue is flushed from inside the jet plumbing.
Rinse Cycle
Refill with fresh warm water to just above the jets. Run the jets for 5 minutes to flush the lines thoroughly clean, then drain fully.
Wipe Down
Using a clean dry cloth, wipe the tub surface, jet ports, and any visible fixtures. Your tub is now clean and ready to use.
First-Time Use or Heavily Neglected Tubs — 2 Tablets

Residue may have accumulated inside the jet lines over an extended period. For best results:
- Use 2 tablets instead of 1
- Run the full cleaning cycle twice before the rinse step
- Tubs with heavy buildup may require more than one cleaning cycle to achieve the desired results

Inspect jet ports periodically and clean with a soft brush if visible residue is present.
Avoid leaving standing water in the tub between uses — it encourages residue buildup inside the lines.
