Durabasics Jetted Tub Cleaner

Why Your Jets Need Cleaning
Every time you use your jetted tub, soap scum, body oils, and moisture get trapped inside the internal jet lines and tubing — where water never fully drains.
Over time, this invisible residue accumulates deep inside the plumbing, far beyond where surface cleaning can reach.
The black flakes or murky water you see coming through your jets? That's the hidden buildup finally flushing out. It's not a surface problem — it lives deep inside the lines.
Using one Durabasics tablet as part of your monthly maintenance routine helps reduce hidden buildup and keep your jetted tub ready for your next relaxing soak.
Standard Monthly Clean — 1 Tablet
Fill Your Tub
Run warm water into your tub until the jet openings are fully covered by at least 2 inches of water. Do not overfill.
Drop In One Tablet
Unwrap one Durabasics tablet and place it directly into the water. Allow it to dissolve completely before proceeding — no stirring required.
Run the Jets
Switch the jets on and let the system run for 20 minutes. The cleaning solution circulates through the jet plumbing to help loosen residue inside the system.
Drain Completely
Turn off the jets and drain the tub completely. Dark or cloudy water may appear as loosened residue is flushed from inside the jet plumbing.
Rinse Cycle
Refill with fresh warm water to just above the jets. Run the jets for 5 minutes to flush the lines thoroughly clean, then drain fully.
Wipe Down
Using a clean dry cloth, wipe the tub surface, jet ports, and any visible fixtures. Your tub is now clean and ready to use.
First-Time Use or Heavily Neglected Tubs — 2 Tablets
💡 If your tub hasn't been cleaned in 3+ months
Residue may have accumulated inside the jet lines over an extended period. For best results:
- Use 2 tablets instead of 1
- Run the full cleaning cycle twice before the rinse step
- Tubs with heavy buildup may require more than one cleaning cycle to achieve the desired results
Why Does Buildup Keep Coming Back?
Every time you use your jetted tub, small amounts of soap residue, body oils, bath products, and minerals can collect inside the jet plumbing.
A one-time clean removes what's there today, but new residue begins to collect again immediately after your next soak.
This is why monthly maintenance is the only long-term solution. Regular monthly cleaning helps maintain clearer water, better jet flow, and reduces recurring buildup over time.
Use the monthly tracker printed inside the lid to log each cleaning and stay on schedule.
Tips for Best Results
Clean monthly — use the tracker inside the lid to stay on schedule.
If you regularly use bath oils, salts, or bubble soaks, clean every 3–4 weeks.
Hard water areas accumulate mineral scale faster — monthly cleaning is recommended.
After each bath, do a quick rinse and wipe down to slow surface residue buildup.
Inspect jet ports periodically and clean with a soft brush if visible residue is present.
Avoid leaving standing water in the tub between uses — it encourages residue buildup inside the lines.
